Ooops, I'm back.

I certainly didn't mean to take time off from blogging, but it's been a whirlwind both at work and at home.

At work we have agencies and contractors preparing for shut-down or work stoppages, and everyone is in a rush to complete projects by the end of the year. I go through this every year.

On the homefront, Emmy's soccer season wrapped up, Sarah's in the middle of pre-teen angst over school and actually having to focus when she does her homework, and Seth was diagnosed with an ear infection a little over a week ago.

Sal had his meeting with the transplant team on Monday, November 25, and as far as these things go, it was a good appointment. He appears to be a good candidate for a transplant, but it's a matter of either finding someone to donate or waiting for a cadaver kidney.

I had a routine dental appointment a couple weeks ago and was diagnosed with three small cavities - this on the heels of an extraction in early October. I had them filled yesterday.

Also, two weeks ago our stove quit working. We immediately went out and bought a new stove, only to realize upon delivery of said stove, it was a wiring issue and not a stove issue. An electrician was able to diagnose and resolved the issue to the toon of about $700 yesterday. We may have to charge for Thanksgiving dinner this year.

Well, I think that catches everybody up. Onward and upward
