Ooops, I'm back.
I certainly didn't mean to take time off from blogging, but it's been a whirlwind both at work and at home. At work we have agencies and contractors preparing for shut-down or work stoppages, and everyone is in a rush to complete projects by the end of the year. I go through this every year. On the homefront, Emmy's soccer season wrapped up, Sarah's in the middle of pre-teen angst over school and actually having to focus when she does her homework, and Seth was diagnosed with an ear infection a little over a week ago. Sal had his meeting with the transplant team on Monday, November 25, and as far as these things go, it was a good appointment. He appears to be a good candidate for a transplant, but it's a matter of either finding someone to donate or waiting for a cadaver kidney. I had a routine dental appointment a couple weeks ago and was diagnosed with three small cavities - this on the heels of an extraction in early October. I had them filled yesterday. ...
